Will I be the only one in the kitchen when I schedule my time? Not necessarily, the kitchen is shared by others who are renting, but you can schedule when others are not likely to use the kitchen.
What do I need to do to use Jax Kitchen? Go to the Pricing/Agreements tab and find the correct Use-Jax-Kitchen-as application and follow the instructions on page one.
What are the starting costs? Registration Fee of $75 and purchase the last months minimum 10 hours $205 (contract date for hours starts the day your license is issued by the state).
Do I have a monthly obligation to purchase hours? Yes, as a licensed client, you agree to purchase at least 10 hours a month from your license issue date in order to claim Jax Kitchen as your kitchen.
May I carry hours forward? No, all prepaid hours must be used in the contract month.
How will I have access to the building 24/7? Once you are licensed, you will be given a key fob and code to access the building.
Am I required to clean up after I am finished? Yes, it is your responsibility to clean prior to leaving for the day, a cleaning fee of $50.00 per hour (1 Hour Minimum) will be charged to your account if we have to clean up after you. You should clean so the area is ready to use by the next client.
How many staff can I have with me? You can have up to 3 people (including yourself) for the hourly rate.
Do you have freezer, refrigeration and dry storage available? Yes, for an additional monthly fee storage is available.
Do I need insurance? Yes, proof of insurance with Jax Kitchen listed as an additional insured is required.
Do I need a food handlers certification? Yes, your license requires that someone from your company have a Food Safety Managers Certification.
Is smoking allowed at Jax Kitchen? The building is a non-smoking facility, there is a designated smoking area outside.
Do you accept FOOD TRUCK parking and commissary use? We can service food trucks for daily needs and storage, but we do not have parking.
